Google Bard Decides Great Upgrade to Compete with ChatGPT & GPT-4

Google Bard Decides Great Upgrade

With the rapid development of tech giants, Ai is constantly taking its place and becoming popular on the internet globally. Although people nowadays hear most of the news related to ChatGPT.

This could surprise a few, even though trillion companies still lag behind OpenAI regarding AI technology. Therefore, Google is now looking forward to upgrading this. This CEO, Sundar Pichai, said they would improve Bard AI to more capable models next week. Check out a few details given below.

Bard AI will be Improved to More Capable Models next week, unveiled by Google CEO

A few times before, Google launched their Ai Chabot called Bard, which was dedicated to giving competition to ChatGPT. Unfortunately, the Chabot responded negatively, which was a disappointing moment for the company. The initiative caused the tech giant to lose $100 billion in market value. After facing critiques over Bard’s failed demo in February, the CEO of Google recently addressed the issue.

On Friday’s Google interview with The New York Times “Hard Fork podcast,” CEO Sundar Pichai “reassured” listeners that Bard would soon be upgraded to a more competent Pathways Language Model (PaLM). PaLM, according to Pichai, is a more recent language model that is more expansive and more suited to deal with challenges like logical thinking and coding. Nowadays, Bard uses a compact and effective version of LaMDA. PaLM’s upgrade will add features like improved numerical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.

He also disclosed that he had discussed the project with Larry Page and Sergey Brin, the other two co-founders of Google and that it was crucial to hold back on releasing a more advanced model until they were ready to handle it. Despite the setbacks, Pichai is obsessed with the future of AI and its potential advantages. But he’s also focusing on how critical it is to foresee the dangers brought on by AI’s explosive rise and to adapt to those difficulties.

On 21st March, Bard came out to the general public in the United States and the United Kingdom, although it hasn’t drawn as much interest as Microsoft’s Bing AI Chabot and OpenAI’s ChatGPT. With the impending upgrade, Google wants to catch up to its competitors in AI chat bots. If you want to read anything about Google or ChatGPT, frequently visit our website.
